breakfast at tiffany's?
better yet...the library.

airwaves: dont you (forget about me) - tears for fears
"dont dont dont dont you...forget about meee"
(fist pump at the end)

so i got QUITE A FEW COMPLAINTS about last weeks Drive in movie, so since this blog is for the people, i decided to give the people what they want. The masses have spoken and...BREAKFAST CLUB IT IS!!!!

i know this movie has been done every which way but i mean come on, its a CLASSIC. Out of all the members, the basket case that was Allison continues to be my favorite. She reminds me so much of how i wanted to be in highschool, cool, a loner, and a delinquent, however i was actually more like Claire..without the whole stuck up thought process. everything about this movie was so reminiscent of how i felt about highschool in a sense that it was prison..but i managed to have fun while i was in there. im not gonna get too deep into the metaphors but either way this movie was a CLASSIC, i wish John Hughes would start making flicks like this again..for more information on the BC..click HERE

here are the last lines....just for nostalgias sake:)

Brian: Dear Mr. Vernon, we accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it was we did wrong. But we think you're crazy to make an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us... In the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain...
Andy: ...and an athlete...
Allison: ...and a basket case...
Claire: ...a princess...
Bender: ...and a criminal...
Brian: Does that answer your question?... Sincerely yours, the Breakfast Club.

Here's To YOU fellow Breakfast Clubbers!

ciao, sal.
